Easter with dyed eggs

It was my first time, celebrating Easter with dyed eggs. It turned out to be very excited, dying, rubbing and crushing the eggs according to the Orthodox tradition. Last Sunday, I discovered this unusual activity and I loved it. Moreover, knowing that is not vague. Hristo, my accomplice, guided me in this. He explained me that the first egg has to be painted red -actually, ours, got pink color- and simbolizes the egg that Maria put below the cross and got painted for Christ's blood. Sound interesting, right? Then, when you have the egg ready, dry and pretty, you rub it in the face of your loved ones, making a cross and wishing them health and strenght. Then when you have all your art placed on the basket ready at the table, you have to select one egg to fight with other person's egg, haha, seriously. Well you just chash them gently, but the strongest, that one remains intact, simbolizes healthiness during the next year. Hristo told me these eggs have to been eaten with a ceremonial sweet bread called kozunak, according to the Bulgarian tradition. I love the multicultural exchanges, the diversity, how the universe extends, knowing other uses and customs.

Invention for Viki: Sailor's Romance

Sailor’s romance is an adventurous Italian drama about the relationship in the ship’s life of two young dreamers, crewmembers in a cruise line. Tanita, part of the show met Francesco in the crew talent show. This good-looking officer, passionate of music didn’t miss any show just to admire that Asian beauty at the stage. She started to notice that crush, but it was not until she prepared a dance for the crew talent-show where the white uniformed one stopped before the stage, just to wish her: "break a leg" and grab her with a snatched kiss. Is not that cute? I bet you visualize it. Well don't loose your time and watch it, here, on Viki.
It is amazing to inform you that you can already download the screensaver of Sailor’s Romance, made it for Dominico Masciopinto, art director of this Italian hit.
Get in! and wear nautical, like your Stars in Sailor’s Romance: Tanita worn this nails design the last chapter of the first season, during the nautical music show. And Francesco is using this cool bracelet. Don’t lose any chapter of this amazing drama!

Me cambie rápido. Yo me quede, plup! Seriously!? Vaya ironias. ______________________________________________________________________________________ I woke up before the announcement, like a 6th sense alerted me about what was happening. The first that I did, was to check my messages in Facebook, from my Kindle, close to my pillow, and I just read from my mom: -God protects you. Mom’s intuition proved right. Then the "Alpha Team-Engine Room" sounded. Alpha Team is the code for fire, which is the most dangerous disaster on a ship. I was about to explain to my mother what was going on. But I was not even sure about it. I just recognized that there was a fire but I should not do anything, just stay aware. I wanted to write: “Thank you, mom”, but there was not any signal. I can not deny I got scared; moreover, knowing where was the origin of the fire. Precisely there, not long ago, was where the failures were coming from. And of course, the time was 6 AM. Definitely, it was not anything. Well, later on, I heard the cruise director mentioned to avoid stairs 50, those ones from the back of the boat. Then, that the area of deck 0 was without access. I started hearing noises from my neighbors. I got changed quickly. I grabbed my life-jacket. I went out in the corridor: I saw long necks. Everybody was waiting for the next announcement. It said the fire was under control and it was not necessary to go at the Muster Station, however some crew-members were already there, but this panicked even more guests. Furthermore, the panic increased when the power suddenly turned off. I tried to wake up my roommate, but she was slow to react. With the time I was known from some heads departments that the smog reached until deck eight. Between neighbors were asking us what to do in case of "Abandon the ship": Go directly to the muster station? Go to help the guests? I was thinking about my emergency duty... I am in deck one, stairs 100, very close from the fire. Someone told me: What!? Do you want to be a hero? or Save your life? And then I thought “What is the fastest way to get my Muster Station?”. Get down to the forth one, then starboard-side and go down until one. Which is the number of my raft? 26. Well, the time passed and the cruise director and the captain were keeping us posted, and how the situation was getting under control. Until we convinced and go back to bed. Still I was wondering What time are we going to start activities? I have to be on Photo-gallery in a couple of hours. The supervisor was my in front neighbor. He said: Go to bed, there is not power, so no work. Well, when I woke up, the boat was leaned towards the left side. And I got worry. However after the frequent announcements about it, They said It was nothing important. That day the bathroom did not work anymore. I remember one announcement from the hotel director: "To do number two, use the red bags, the stewards will leave them in your cabins. To do number one, please use the shower". The cabins were totally dark, only the corridors were illuminated. Imagine the sailing. As it was expected, the resources came depleted and we received help with some supplies from Elation, around 6PM. And the next day from Conquest, around noon. The people slept in corridors and open decks. We opened Photo Gallery to give folders and bags for everybody so they could take their pictures for free. People started to look tranquil. Now we know that on Thursday will arrive to Alabama and right now February 11th around 9 PM we are pulled for two tugs. We don't have any signal, only when our Carnival siblings get closed to us. I could sent a message to my family and boyfriend. Fourth day of drift boat We are almost at the end of this decadence. Fortunately It hasn't been so bad as when on Splendor, we half have some bathrooms and power working. They did not have any of those services, I have understood. The guests eat and drink by gula, with craziness. That, for the crew-members, has been very resented. Yesterday two helicopters came with more supplies. These last days, the Photo-department have patrolled from deck one to five. The schedule was from 6PM to 12AM. People was playing cards, reading, chatting, complaining, cuddling... The guests were reimbursed. Between workmates have had some frictions, understood, of course, because the tension during these days:insults from here, long faces from there. On the other hand, we started to feel an union, a complicity. I remember one chat in the Dreams Studio, a nice place that seems like a chic apartment, and these days we had used it like a refuge and a home cinema. I said: It is said that catastrophic situation joins more to people: friends, in love ones... Luca, an ex-Yugoslavian, said: I think so, because when my country was on war, i had to escape from bombs together to with my friends, when I was teenager, It became in something that make us more friends, because It marked to everybody in a same stage of life. I was like: plop! Did you say something Leilany? Well, It is not known What should it be of us? If we are going to be transferred, If we are going to go home, Whose are going to stay in dry-dock? What I most think is How is my family? What are they imagine? y What I most shout internally is: I am OK! Well, also It is said that in the crisis moments are of changes and opportunities. I want to know which are these reactions. Today We'll arrive to Alabama around 4PM. It has been requested our collaboration to manage the exit, just imagine what could be expected of 3000 guests in despair to get out. And us, still in intrigue: We do not if we'll pass the night on board or any nearby hotel. We'll see. I still remember, one night before the accident, when I greeted one of the officers from the engine room: -How was your day? How is everything in the engine room? -Busy, busy, but I give one week to everything work perfectly. Yesterday, I reminded to him. He said: -Well, that's life, It changes suddenly. I was like: Seriously!? What an ironies!

En la nave / On the nave

-Muyei thumpsei piaare! -Ciao. Come vai? -mui bem. ______________________________________________________________________________________ On the nave, you live a parallel life that transits at the same time than the real one, that one that is at home, where the strong ties are... here is like a dream, like a videogame that is necesary to play to win the longed world. Its exotic paraphernalia is composed by, overall, multicultural specimens that seem ants inside a babel tower. -Tarana! -Muyei thumpsei piaare! -Ciao. Come vai? -mui bem. - I'm pissed off -bra bra It is a going and coming of: go for it, lift, attend, pick up... solve, delegate. My floating babel nave in a blue that doesn't distinguish between sea and sky... and by the nights gets illuminated with the marbled astro together to stars. An then It is there when one gets rapt and mind recreates movies of the life that passed, transits and is wished.

Tom y Muriel/Tom and Muriel

______________________________________________________________________________________ Tom and Muriel at the dinning room table. Muriel stretches the arm with the napkin to clean up the cream in the lip of her partner. Muriel over wheels transits the deck nine of the cruise, while Tome says to her ear, holding the chair: "I have passed a nice time with you". Together, leaning in the rail of the bow, listen the music from the bar and they passionately kiss each other like a young couple. "Bravo, Bravo, Portside" it is listen from the speakers of the ship. From Tom and Muriel, just left shoes and a lovely complicity throught the years, flowing in the air.
